Tomatoes are good for the heart as they contain lycopene, a powerful antioxidant. It is found in tomatoes’ cell walls, which means that you have to cook tomatoes to release its lycopene. Make tomatoes a part of your day to day diet, especially tomato-based pasta sauces and sundried tomatoes.
4. Broccoli –
It has phytochemical and sulforaphane, which has the ability to kill cancer cells. If you want to prevent cancer or slow down the growth of cancer cells, you should include broccoli to your diet. If you are not fond of eating broccoli, then don’t worry as some vegetables can deliver the same effects such as cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, kale, cabbage, and bok choy.
